Location
Summit Hills is a rural community in the California Central Coast in San Luis Obispo County, situated between Atascadero and Morro Bay. Summit Hills is built on Frog Pond Mountain in the Santa Lucia Range. Located in the Highway 41 canyon approximately 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean, the community enjoys a microclimate moderated by the ocean. It is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than Atascadero.
Summit Hills is between the Las Padres National Forest and the Three Bridges Oak Preserve Trail. Morro Bay, Atascadero, Templeton, Santa Margarita, Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo are nearby cities.
Description
Summit Hills consists of 38 lots – 13 below the gate and 25 above the gate. The lots range in size from 1.85 to 22 acres. Generally, the larger lots are higher on the mountain. All lots have views. From the top of the mountain, one can see Morro Rock, the ocean, and panoramic views of the coastal mountains.
